At 90 years old, Werner Berger will make his 10th ascent of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Werner is recognized in Guinness World Records as the oldest person in the world to climb the highest mountain on each continent, including Mount Everest. For decades, he has worked with individuals, entrepreneurs, and corporate leadership teams to help unlock greater human potential, resilience, and performance. Former clients include organizations as large as AstraZeneca Canada and Clorox Canada.

The African Safari Experience

The expedition begins with an unforgettable multi-day safari through some of the most iconic wildlife regions on Earth: the Serengeti, Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater, Olduvai Gorge, Tarangire National Park, and a Maasai Village visit.
Witness vast herds crossing ancient plains. Watch elephants move silently through acacia forests. Sleep beneath immense African skies. Feel the stillness and immensity of nature in a way few modern experiences allow.

The Mountain Experience
The Ascent
Over eight unforgettable days, participants climb the legendary Machame Route to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro — the highest mountain in Africa.
The journey traverses rainforest, moorland, alpine desert, volcanic terrain, and glacial summit landscapes — five climate zones on one of the world’s most extraordinary free-standing mountains. A strategically placed acclimatization day at Barranco Camp dramatically increases summit success while allowing participants to absorb the beauty and immensity of the mountain.
And then comes summit morning.
Standing at Uhuru Peak, on the rim of an ancient volcanic crater, watching sunrise over Africa at 19,341 feet, becomes a moment few ever forget. Not because of the altitude — but because of what awakens within.

July 3, 2027 — Arrival in Tanzania. Airport pickup and luxury lodge welcome.
July 4 – 8 — Elite 5-day African Safari Experience.
July 9 — Recovery, preparation, and free day.
July 10 – 17 — 8-Day Kilimanjaro Ascent via the Machame Route.
July 18 — Departure after breakfast.
What Is Included
Airport pickup and return transportation, luxury accommodations and safari lodges, professional safari guides, the full Kilimanjaro support team including expert mountain guides and porters, all meals during the expedition, climb preparation support, equipment guidance and fitness preparation, and safety and acclimatization protocols.
All-inclusive upon arrival in Tanzania (excluding personal beverages and international airfare).

The Legacy
The Inner Ascent
Running alongside the expedition is The Inner Ascent — a structured program delivered to children aged 12 to 18, youth groups, and diverse community groups at the base of Kilimanjaro during Werner’s 8-day climb, as well as in participating schools worldwide.
Its purpose: to create connection in a disconnected world — shifting consciousness from division and self-interest toward shared purpose rooted in collaboration and unity.
The program operates through two delivery contexts: a full immersive experience at the base of Kilimanjaro, and a modular 8-session curriculum delivered by teachers in participating schools worldwide. Some young participants will be sponsored to attend.
There are moments in everyone’s lives when the come across something that makes their heart sing and they just have to get behind it and support it.
That’s what happened for me when my dear Friend, Mr Werner Berger, told me about his The Global Ascent 2027 – climbing Kilimanjaro for his 90th birthday, and making it a magical leadership and change-making experience for a select group of thought-leaders.
While I will not be there in person for the expedition itself, I believe deeply in what Werner Berger is building with this project — the adventure, the leadership experience, the legacy work with young people at the base of Kilimanjaro, and the profound human transformation that happens when extraordinary people take on an extraordinary challenge together.
